Biographical Sketch:
Ian is currently a Food Safety Consultant with the Food Safety and Quality Unit of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). He obtained a BASc in Public Health and Safety from Ryerson University in 2007 and a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Guelph in 2010. From 2011-2014, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow and an Epidemiologist with Laboratory for Foodborne Zoonoses, Public Health Agency of Canada, on the application of knowledge synthesis, transfer and exchange methods to support evidence-informed decision-making and risk analysis in the food safety sector.
