Biographical Sketch: Food Safety and Risk Communication Manager European Food Information Council (EUFIC) Brussels Area, Belgium. EUFIC communicates science-based information on nutrition and health, food safety and quality, to help consumers to be better informed when choosing a well-balanced, safe and healthful diet. Dr. Nina McGrath joined the European Food Information Council (EUFIC) in May 2015. As Food Safety and Risk Communications Manager where she manages the production of science-based communications on food safety and quality related topics. Prior to this she worked as Science Counsellor for Euro Chlor, the European chlorine industry federation, where she advised on environmental science issues. She holds a Masters degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry and Materials Science from the University of Bristol, UK.
