Biographical Sketch:
Laurent Guillier, is an initial formation of food microbiologist engineer. He defended his Ph.D. thesis in 2005 on predictive microbiology. He is currently employed by the INRA laboratory as research engineer, where he conducted researches on modeling bacterial competition in biofilm. From November 2006 to now, he has contributed to more than 30 opinions of the French food safety agency on quantitative risk assessments, microbiology risk profile, hygiene and sampling. Since 2010, Laurent Guillier has worked in the Laboratory of Food Safety of Maisons-Alfort in the Modeling of bacterial behavior unit. He was in charge of several ANR (Project-based funding to advance French research) research projects. He also provides scientific support to two European Union Reference Laboratories (EU-RL): Milk and dairy product hygiene and Listeria monocytogenes. Laurent GUILLIER has published 23 scientific peer reviewed articles and has given more than 30 oral presentations or posters in national or international conferences.
