Biographical Sketch:
Nicolas Meneses is an Expert on Food & Feed Safety in the Corporate Technology Unit at Bühler AG, Uzwil, Switzerland. He has been working 4 years in charge of developing technologies for food safety of low water activity food and feed. Nicolas worked over 3 years in the Department of Food Biotechnology and Food Process Engineering at the Technische Universität Berlin as a Research Associate involved in European and national projects. He also carried out his PhD studies on non-thermal technologies, has published over 20 articles and presented at over 40 international conferences where he has been awarded with several prices for the best paper student competition. Nicolas was also Student Representative for Europe at the Non-thermal Processing Division, IFT (2011).
