Biographical Sketch:
JBorn in 1965, Jean-François Mouscadet holds a master degree in Agronomy and a Ph.D. in molecular pharmacology from Paris XI University. After a postdoctoral period at the California Institute of Technology, (CA, USA), he joined the French Governmental agency for research (CNRS) where he led a multidisciplinary research group in the field of nucleic acid biochemistry and molecular virology. He contributed more than 100 peer-reviewed articles in this field. In 2007, he was appointed Director of the CNRS UMR8113 Applied Pharmacology Laboratory. He served as Deputy-director of the biology scientific committee of the French National agency for research funding from 2008 to 2010. He joined the Food Science Division of Bio-Rad in 2011 to lead its R&D department.
