Biographical Sketch: Cian O’Mahony is Chief Science Officer at Creme Global, a data science company specialising in predictive modelling and software. His background is in pure and applied mathematics, holding a first class honors degree from University College Cork followed by postgraduate studies in applied mathematics and pharmacy. He currently leads a team of analysts developing exposure, intake and risk assessment models in a number of areas including pesticides, food safety, predictive microbiology, nutrition, personal care products and cosmetics. Many of the models and analyses developed by his team at Creme Global are now built into a range of applications used by regulators, industry and academia worldwide.
