Biographical Sketch: Vasilis Valdramidis is an Associate Professor of Food Science and Environmental Health at the University of Malta, Malta. He is an executive board member of the ICFMH, part of the IUMS. He is member of the Editorial Board of Food Research International, Current Opinion in Food Science, International Journal of Food Microbiology, Journal of Applied Microbiology and Letters in Applied Microbiology. He is co-author of about 50 papers on national and international journals, and an expert in (i) Predictive Modelling; (ii) Non-thermal food technologies; (iii) Applied Microbiology.
