Biographical Sketch: He works at the Monitoring and Surveillance Unit of the Food and Nutrition Department of INSA since 2015. From 2005 to 2015 worked at the Portuguese Food Safety Authority, in the areas of food supplements, risk assessment and risk communication. From 2011 to 2015 he was responsible for the scientific newsletter “Riscos e Alimentos” and was the Portuguese representative at the Advisory Forum working group on communications of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
