Biographical Sketch: Current PhD Candidate (2015-)in Laboratory of Food Microbiology and Food Preservation in Ghent University. Specialized in inactivation study of norovirus surrogates and bacterial pathogens.
Worked as an intern in Nestle Research Center in Switzerland for one year (2014-2015) focusing on the topic of thermal resistant of Salmonella on low moisture food.
Obtained Master degree of Science (2012-2015) from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, United States with the thesis titled the inactivation of murine norovirus by using non thermal processing technology.
