As a complement to the oral presentations of the symposium on Predictive Microbiology and Risk Assessment Tools (https://iafp.confex.com/iafp/2017/webprogram/Session4301.html), we propose to organize a live demo "software fair" during which attendees can come in and try out the various tools in a friendly hands-on session with the developers.
Such a live demo "software fair" would help stakeholders from the food sector to get information on the tools, ask for specific case demonstrations, and exchange with developers through a direct and facilitated dialogue. This complementary session of demonstration will take place in a dedicated and equipped space with tables for small groups and flat screens. The whole session will be divide in demonstration rounds lasting each 25 minutes with a 30 minute-break from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The number of attendees is limited to ensure good exchanges between participants and developers.
