This is a great time to not only meet fellow

students, but also to meet and mingle

with industry/academic/government professionals.

Stephanie Barnes, incoming sPDG Chair (2017 – 2018) will give a short presentation to introduce the new sPDG officers and provide updates.

Student Luncheon

12:30 PM – 1:00 PM

The first annual 3MT Competition will take place. Up

to five pre-selected finalists will practice their oral

communication skills and highlighting the important

aspects of their research within a 3-minute time

constraint. Audience members and a panel of

judges will cast votes for the best presentation and

winners will be announced at the student mixer.
