Biographical Sketch: Muriel Guyard-Nicodème holds a phD. in Microbiology from the University of Nancy, France. Since 2010, she has joined Anses, the French Agency for Food, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety. She works as a researcher in the Hygiene and Quality of Poultry and Pork Products where she contributes mainly to understand host-pathogen interactions and to develop control measures against Campylobacter in poultry. She is currently involved in several national and EU projects aimed at testing non-antibiotics additives in feed to reduce Campylobacter colonization and developing a vaccine against this pathogen in poultry.
